Timothy John Kolb

Timothy John Kolb, 58, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, November 06, 2015, at Capital Region Medical Center. As a lasting gift, Tim has donated his organs to those in need. He was born June 4, 1957, in Jefferson City, the son of Louis Bernard and Ruth Ann (Luetkemeyer) Kolb. Tim attended St. Thomas Seminary for three years. He graduated from Helias High School in 1975. Tim joined the Missouri National Guard and later worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for five years before he became disabled. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Tim enjoyed painting, music, and his harmonica and guitar. He especially loved his family including all his nieces and nephews. Survivors include his mother, Ruth Kolb, Jefferson City; five brothers, Mitch Kolb, Kevin (Debbie) Kolb, Jerry (Tammy) Kolb, Curt (Alicia) Kolb, Daniel (Nikki) Kolb; four sisters, Carla Kolb, Sharon (Tom) Wilbers, Natalie (Brad) Roark, Nicole (Doug) Hood, all of Jefferson City; 25 nieces and nephews; and 6 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Kolb. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Catholic church with the Rev. Simeon Etonu officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic School, 1208 E. McCarty Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
