Linda June Bonnot, 72, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.

She was born June 9, 1947, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Henry Richard and Mary Elizabeth (Wolfe) Bonnot.

Linda was a 1965 graduate of Jefferson City High School. Following graduation, Linda worked for the Missouri Division of Aging as a custodian of records for over 30 years. After retirement, she worked as a school cashier for Cedar Hill Elementary School for nine years.

She was a member of the Methodist faith and the Fraternal Order of Eagle’s Aerie 2693. She was a skilled baker especially her sugar cookies. She was known around town as the “cookie lady”. Linda was always generous with her time for family and friends.

Survivors include one brother, Billy (Janice) Bonnot, Jefferson City; two nieces, Cheryl (Dennis) Bosch; Christine (Kenneth) Wynn; three great-nieces; and two great-nephews.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a service at 4 p.m. with Rev. Stephen Buchholz officiating.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice Compassus.

Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  1. Linda was a dear friend who was always there for you. Her whole life was spent taking care of others. She will be missed by many. I will treasure the memories and friendship shared with this wonderful women.

  4. I’m Anne Antosiak-Holts granddaughter. I would see Linda often when I visited Nana, or Margie (my mom), or Robyn (my sister) at work. Linda always took the time to talk with me and made me feel important. Her cookies were famous in our household and we called them, “Linda’s cookies”! They were hidden by my father because he loved them so much! We especially enjoyed them over Easter…the pretty shapes and beautiful pastel colors are a special memory I have of Linda’s creativity and generosity. Linda was a wonderful lady and she is special to our family. She will be missed!

  5. Linda was my boss for several years an my dear friend. She was the best boss I ever had during my career with the state of mo. I’m so saddened to just now learn of her passing. I have lots of good memories an will never forget her
