Kyle Trimble

A 2006 graduate of Missouri State University and an honors graduate of Kansas City Kansas Community College, Kyle holds degrees in Business Administration and Mortuary Science. He is a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph where he serves on the foundation board and a member of the Bishop Michael F. McAuliffe Knights of Columbus Council 12992. Kyle serves on the Special Learning Center Board of Director and the Special Learning Center Foundation Board. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the state of Missouri. After many years of working with his parents, Kyle Trimble took full ownership of the firm on July 1, 2021.

Christy Trimble

Christy is a licensed Missouri funeral director and takes great honor in caring for our community. In her ministry to families, she provides comfort, guidance, and peace of mind during difficult times. The care that she takes in setting up, preplanning, and staffing funerals is one of the many reasons our families return. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Western Illinois University. Christy has been very active in many community organizations, including P.E.O., Zonta, and as a docent at the Missouri Governor’s Mansion. Christy is also a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, where she serves as a greeter and docent. Additionally, she is a board member for the St. Mary’s Hospital Auxiliary and is a volunteer buyer for the hospital gift shop.

John DeLaporte

In January of 2021 I joined the staff of Trimble Funeral Homes as a Missouri Funeral Director and Embalmer. My wife Dee and I decided to move from Wisconsin to Missouri to be closer to our children and grandchildren. We make our home in Holts Summit and attend St. Andrew Catholic Church. I am very fortunate to be able to work at a funeral home where our entire staff truly goes the extra mile in the care and guidance we give each and every family needing our services.

Cody Volkart

Cody Volkart is a Missouri licensed funeral director and embalmer. A 2018 graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Mortuary Science and a 2017 graduate of Dallas Institute of Funeral Service with a degree in Funeral Directing. A resident of California, Missouri, Cody is an active member of the community and his home parish, Annunciation Catholic Church. He currently serves as a board of directors for the Moniteau County Fair, and a past committee member of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life in Moniteau County and was a past volunteer firefighter for the California City Fire and California Rural Fire Protection District.

Cody Farris

Cody is a life-long resident of Jefferson City, Missouri and a 2020 graduate of Calvary Lutheran High School. He is a 2022 graduate from State Fair Community College with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management, and a 2024 graduate from the Des Moines Area Community College Mortuary Science program. He is a Missouri licensed funeral director and is currently completing his embalming apprenticeship. He joined the staff at Trimble Funeral Homes in August of 2022. Cody is an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson City where he serves as the organist and choir accompanist.

Kent Trimble

Kent Trimble has many decades of experience in funeral and bereavement care. Raised in a funeral family and active in civic and religious affairs in his hometown of Moline, Illinois, he is a graduate with high honors of the University of Minnesota College of Mortuary Science and also earned a Master of Theology degree from Southern Methodist University. A licensed funeral director and embalmer in Missouri and Illinois, Kent has received numerous awards for community and professional service over the years including membership on the Board of Directors of the former National Selected Morticians (now Selected Independent Funeral Homes).

Gerry Foster

Gerry has been a Funeral Assistant with Trimble Funeral Homes since 2007. He has expanded his role to a Licensed Pre-need Planner. He is a member of First United Methodist Church and volunteers with the can crew for Habitat for Humanity. Gerry is a graduate of Columbia College with a degree in Business Administration. He and his wife Glenda, have two married sons and four grandchildren.
