I was saddened to hear about Dorothy passing. Dorothy & Tony’s raised a wonderful family and their legacy will live on through their children and their families!! The first memory I have of meeting the Scheidt family was in 1976. When I was hired as a 6th grade teacher. I needed an apartment to live in and by God’s Grace my path crossed with Dorothy & Tony. I was a first year teacher, 3 hrs away from family & friends. I didn’t even know there was a California, Mo. I became Mary Lou’s neighbor and she became my life long friend. The Scheidts became my family away from home. I send my sympathy, love & prayers!! Sharon Kreissler Marble
