Ruth Ann Werdenhause, 91, of Jefferson City, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at SSM Health St. Marys Hospital.
She was born September 12, 1926, in Westphalia, MO, the daughter of the late Christopher and Martha (Luetkemeyer) Hoer.
She was united in marriage on September 6, 1947, in Jefferson City, Missouri, to Stanley Joseph Werdenhause who preceded her in death on August 25, 1993.
Ruth worked for Capital Reserve Life for many years until retiring at the age of 72.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where she was a member of the Immaculata Club, and participated in Perpetual Adoration and Prayer Line. She volunteered for many years for Meals on Wheels and St. Marys Auxiliary. Ruth was one of the founding members of the Helias Mothers Club.
Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, crossword puzzles, and watching her beloved St. Louis Cardinals.
She is survived by her three children, Sue (Terry) Kremer and Tom (Mary) Werdenhause, Jefferson City; Laurie (Tom) Papelian, Marietta, GA; six grandchildren, Justin (Shannon) Kremer, Jeff (Megan) Kremer, Hilary (Tory) Brondel, Chris (Kristi) Werdenhause, Grant Papelian, and Kyle Papelian; and five great-grandchildren, Kensley, Amelia, Cade, Adelyn, and Logan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one sister, Vivian Clark; and one brother, Christopher Hoer.
Visitation will be 2:30-5 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2017, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 2 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. I.C. Medina officiating.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Samaritan Center or Immaculate Conception Endowment Fund.

What a sweet lady. She was a young 50 when I met her, and was a beautiful role model from that day on and each time I saw her I was blessed with her smile.

Your Mom was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was genuinely kind and strong with a great sense of humor. I loved when she would laugh at my Mom or your Dad. Such happy times. Those folks had some great adventures together. Thinking of you all,
