Helen Ann Utrecht, 90, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center.
She was born April 11, 1926, in Linn, Missouri, the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Oidtman) Kliethermes.
She was united in marriage on June 1, 1948 at St. George Catholic Church in Linn, Missouri to Arnold Anton Utrecht who preceded her in death on August 3, 1999.
Helen worked for Tweedie Shoe Factory, Missouri Baptist Convention, and retired from Memorial Community Hospital.
She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Helen's greatest joys came from attending Mass, praying multiple rosaries every day for her family and friends, and spending time with her loving family. She also found joy with her cats Smokey and Autumn.
Survivors include four children, John (Beth) Utrecht, Jefferson City; Marilyn (Richard) Barnard, Jefferson City; Kathleen (Roy) Meller, Lohman; Carla (Rick) Duppong, Centertown; seven grandchildren: Ashley (Dan) Ahring, Aaron Utrecht, Richard (Natalie) Barnard II, Kimberly (Kennedy) Hudson, Stacy (Matt) Stotts, Angie (Steven) Nix, Adam Duppong; and 10 great-grandchildren: Nolan and Adelyn Ahring; Zach, Ethan and Greyden Hudson; Breanna, Samantha and Olivia Stotts; Kyla and Lyssa Nix.
In addition to her parents and husband of 51 years, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Frank, Arthur, Hugo and Ben Kliethermes; three sisters: Mary Gangwish, Ann Davis, Genrose Tichelkamp; and eight half brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2017, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a rosary recited at 4 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Robert A. Kurwicki and Deacon Jim Kliethermes officiating.
