  3. It was always a pleasure to see Dick and Pilly drive up to mom’s house when we were visting. He gave our family a lot of support and help over the years. When there was a new kid in the family, he always gave them coins with their birth date. I am continuing that tradition in our family. We will miss him. Love, Garry and Carolyn Trachsel

  4. Pilly, Karen, Patty, Pam I am old enough to remember when Dick and Pilly got married. The reception was at out house where on the farm where David Boessen now lives. It was quite an event in my 6 year old eyes. Your dad had lived with my parents for a while back then.

You mom and dad where very helpful to our family. When dad bought our farm your dad built cabinets, insulated and built a bathroom for us. He was a great role model for me.

I’m sorry I won’t be able to attend the service. We are supposed to be in Florida tommorrow night.
