Anna Marie Boeckmann, 93, of Jefferson City, passes away peacefully Thursday morning, September 29, 2016, at her home at the Boone Landing Retirement Residence. She was born January 11, 1923, in Silver Lake, Missouri, the daughter of the late Arthur A. and Elizabeth (Taylor) Tucker. She was united in marriage on May 15, 1943, in St. Louis to Oreon Joseph Jaromack who preceded her in death on August 21, 1974. On June 28, 1975, in St. Louis, she married Joseph Vincent Boeckmann who preceded her in death on April6, 2013. She worked at the Fred Harvey Restaurant in Union Station at St. Louis as a Harvey Girl. Then during World War II, she worked on the assembly line at Carter Carburetor in St. Louis. As a homemaker the majority of her life, she enjoyed sewing and cooking. When living in Bowling Green, Kentucky, she worked as a housekeeper for a prominent family and occasionally served their social dinners. In her later years, she enjoyed playing cards, drives in the country and going to the church picnics and dinners, and visiting with friends and relatives. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Survivors include three children, Carolyn Ann (David) Wagner, Columbia, MO; John Joseph (Edna Knotts) Jaromack, Sr., Mustang, OK; Rose Marie (Robert) Payne, Ferguson, MO; one step-daughter, Janice Marie (Michael) Mulvihill, St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren, Brian L. (Corrie) Wagner, El Dorado Hills, CA; Matthew J. Wagner, Iowa City, IA; Janine M. (Tim) Smith, Georgetown, IN; John J. (Christy) Jaromack, Jr., Franklin, NY; seven step-grandchildren, Robert A. Payne, IV, Nicole R. Payne, Thomas J. Mulvihill, Melissa J. (Rick Dudley) Mulvihill, Daniel P. Mulvihill, Gary M. (Hanna Pope) Mulvihill, and Michael P. Mulvihill, Jr., all of St. Louis; and eleven great-grandchildren, Maxwell and Sofia Wagner, Rachel Neighbors and Nathan Smith, Demitri and Alyssa Jaromack, Sarah, Brittany, Austin, Abigail, and Jessica Mulvihill; many brother and sister-in-laws, and nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Rosemary Richardson; and three brothers, William Tucker, George Layton, and Delmar Tucker. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Hillary Andebo officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to SSM Health at Home Hospice, 2505 Mission Dr. Suite 320, Jefferson City, MO 65109. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
