Berta was a committed Christian and we will miss her.
I enjoyed getting to know Berta at Martin family reunions.
my sympathy in this loss a lot of memories from JC, First Methodist, and growing up in JC
Berta was a generous and caring person who touched many lives. She certainly touched mine. We lived near each other when we were in high school; she was always friendly and open with me. Later, I remember particularly how she went out of her way to visit me and Richard in New York and how, when I was back in JC, she always made a point of contacting me and treating me kindly and thoughtfully. Berta was a good person and left the world a nicer place.
My deepest condolences. Berta was a most wonderful neighbor for many years and will be missed very much.
