Judy Ann Schaefer, 68, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016, at her residence.
She was born May 7, 1947, in Jefferson City the daughter of the late Alvin "Corky" and Imogene (Mosley) Monroe.
Judy was a graduate of Linn High School.
She was united in marriage on June 17, 1967, in Jefferson City to Daniel Joseph Schaefer who survives.
Judy worked for the Missouri Department of Revenue Driver's License Bureau for over 45 years retiring as a computer analytical programmer in 2011. Judy also worked part-time for Capital Region Medical Center as a switch-board operator.
Judy was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph and the Helias Mother's Club. She enjoyed watching soap operas, being a brownie leader, and working the visitors side concession stand at Helias football games. Judy loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel Schaefer, Jefferson City; her mother, Imogene Monroe, Westphalia; three children, Daniel Schaefer, II, Linn; Lori (Christopher) Becklenberg, Chesterfield; Angela Schaefer (fianc Steve Drupp), Linn; four grandchildren, Alexandria Schaefer, Sophia Becklenberg, Zoey Becklenberg, August Becklenberg; three siblings, Jerry (Gail) Monroe, Jefferson City; Marchia Monroe, Jefferson City; and Keith (Sharon) Monroe, Linn; three sisters-in-law, Monica (Dan) Smith, Mary (Sam) Vogel, Rita Schaefer; and three brothers-in-law, Mark (Mary) Schaefer, Greg (Marla) Schaefer, and Roch (Jada) Schaefer.
She was preceded in death by her father, an infant sister, Angele Monroe; and her father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Ida Schaefer.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas E. McGrath officiating.
Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

Danny, So sorry to hear of Judy’s passing.
I worked with Judy for many years at DOR, she had a heart of gold. She would do anything for anyone! Prayers to her family.
Judy was my supervisor at the DOR for a few years and she was wonderful, Before that she was my mothers supervisor and my mother loved her. I know that they are now visiting in the heavenly realm. God Bless you in your time of earthly sorrow but rejoice in knowing that you will see her again in the heavenly realm,
judy and I were elementary school friends, a very sweet person and I have throught of her often. she was a part of my childhood. my deepest sympathy to her family.
