Billye Sue Throneberry, 85, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born February 5, 1930, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late William Preston and Clara Pauline (Loethen) Neeley, Sr. She was united in marriage on December 30, 1946, in Jefferson City to Thomas Garland Throneberry, Jr. who preceded her in death on November 8, 2012. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Mom was a loving mother and homemaker who was the kind of person you would want to be around simply for the fun of it. She loved participating in games with family and friends and had a sharp wit with an endless capacity to tease even those who were strangers. With her passing we can finally assure the grandchildren that there are no wolves in the basement of her house. She will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her. Survivors include: two children, Thomas J. Throneberry, Holts Summit; and Jacqueline S. Throneberry, Lakeland, Florida; five grandchildren, Sean Throneberry, Holts Summit, Mo.; Kirsten Throneberry, Seattle, Wash.; Melissa Heet, Jefferson City; Michael Morris, Oak Grove, Mo.; and Monica Morris, Springfield, Ill.; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Merry Throneberry. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. John J. Schmitz officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until time of the service on Friday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. 1. I was always afraid to go upstairs where the only bathroom was because of the boogeyman. If Aunt Sue saw me looking that way and getting ready to head upstairs she would tell me “better watch out” and then she would look towards the upstairs, and I’d look back at her and she would kind of shake her head and raise her shoulders as if to say “your taking a big chance” and then I would sit there and pray that I could hold it for another hour and beg to leave. So thankful when I could use the bathroom at Aunt Babes or Aunt Gin’s house across the street. I was also afraid of the basement and whatever kind of wild named horrible creature lived down there. Still never wanted to go upstairs or by the basement door even as an adult. Lol… She was always a lot of fun to be around and I remember going to her home to be surrounded by a room full of love and laughter and family when I was growing up. I have many good memories of both Tom and Sue and can only imagine the party they must be having in heaven. Feel very blessed to have been raised with her as an Aunt.

  2. Suzy “Q” or Pussy Cow… Man oh man.. You are going to be truly missed. Your famous sayings: ” I’m Strictly sharp”.. “Don’t touch my bod”.. I am going to miss hearing you say these. You are in a better place now with Uncle Tom and my awesome Dad Jim. I’m just at a loss of words. Mom has lost her running buddy, but maybe Jackie #1 can help out there. I love and miss you.

  3. So many memories of being at Jackie, Sue, and Tom\’s house. Everyone was welcomed with open arms. Loved listening to those records Sue loved, especially that song \”Make the World Go Away.\” Had lots of tuna sandwiches and cold beverages there. Sue was one of a kind. May she rest in peace.

  7. I am so sorry I could not be there to celebrate her life with all of you. I loved her very much! Although you may be surprised to hear that. But God so blessed me to have been able to tell her how much I loved her and kissed her check at uncle Bob’s funeral. I send you all my love and wishes for joyful memories. There were so many!

  9. My deepest condolences. May you find comfort in the resurrection hope of the Bible ( John 5:28-29 ) This is no mere dream but is guaranteed because God always keeps His promises. (Titus 1:2, Psalms 83:18)
