Marie Therese Oldelehr, 86, of Westphalia, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015, at Westphalia Hills surrounded by her family. She was born November 30, 1928, in Linn, Missouri, the daughter of the late Leo and Agnes (Schaefer) Hueste. She was a 1947 graduate of Linn High School. Marie was united in marriage on April 19, 1952, at St. George Catholic Church in Linn to Joseph Henry Oldelehr who preceded her in death on April 5, 2008. Marie served for over 27 years as the secretary to the Principal at Fatima High School in Westphalia. Marie also had served as a secretary for the Senate and House of Representatives at the State Capital for 2 years and with Employment Security for 8 years. Marie served as clerk for the Public Water Supply District 2 in Westphalia. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Westphalia Historical Society, and the Town and Country Club all in Westphalia. Marie enjoyed embroidering, dancing, cooking, fishing, flowers, and especially loved being with her family. Survivors include: two sons and their wives, Michael and Melita Oldelehr, Jefferson City; Gary and Mary Ann Oldelehr, Loose Creek; four grandchildren, Marcus and his wife Lindsey Oldelehr; Marisa and her husband Todd Schalhamer; Maribeth and her husband Tom McCormack; Sarah Oldelehr; five great-grandchildren, Sydney Oldelehr, Dane Oldelehr, Addison Schalhamer, Hadley Schalhamer, Ty Schalhamer; and three siblings, Margaret Fluegel, Jefferson City; Charles Hueste, Linn; and Ralph Hueste, Linn. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Leoba Hueste; and three brothers, Bernard, Albert, and Leo Hueste. Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. Wednesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Westphalia. Memorials are suggested to the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, P.O. Box 116 Westphalia, MO 65085 or to St. George Catholic Cemetery, P.O.   3. Melita and family – I am sorry for your loss. I spoke with Marie, who was very charming, several times when she and my Aunt Martha Krone shared a dining table in assisted living. Marie had a cheerful nature, and was very devoted to her family. With deepest sympathy — Elaine

  4. So sorry to hear of Marie’s passing! She was so sweet to come and visit mom at Westphalia Hills when Mom was there last year. And though mom didn’t recognize many people toward the end, she immediately knew Marie. You are all in my prayers.
