Mary Louise Mueller, 80, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, October 19, 2014, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center. She was born September 22, 1934, in St. Martins, Missouri to Theodore Victor and Wilhelmina (Kolde) Ihler. Mary was a 1952 graduate of St. Peter Catholic High School. She was united in marriage on October 2, 1954, in St. Martins to Thomas Joseph Mueller who still survives. Mary worked for over 30 years as a legislative secretary for the Missouri House of Representatives. She also had worked for Farm Bureau Insurance. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality. Mary enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, and crocheting. Other survivors include: two children, Michael Mueller, Jefferson City; Susan (Tom) Pitera, Jefferson City; three grandchildren, Jessica (C.J.) Luetkemeyer; Allyson Pitera; Mikayla Pitera; and one sister, Helen Hohm, Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Wilma Wagers and Edna Eggen; and two brothers, Amos Ihler and Lawrence Ihler. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Colin Franklin officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. Wednesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Martin Catholic School, 7206 St. Martins Ave., Jefferson City, MO 65109; or to Alzheimer's Association, 2400 Bluff Creek Dr., Columbia, MO 65201.
