William Thomas Zumwalt, Jr., 50, of Jefferson City, died Friday, December 20, 2013, at University Hospitals in Columbia, Missouri. He was born on July 25, 1963, in Jefferson City, the son of William Thomas, Sr., and Ann Louise Blaser Zumwalt. He was married on April 4, 1987, in Jefferson City, to Mary Margaret Buschjost who survives at the home. A 1981 graduate of Jefferson City High School, he attended the University of Missouri at Rolla for three years and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Columbia College in 2005. William worked during his high school and college years at his family business, Zumwalt and Son Auto Repair, and later became its manager. In recent years he was an automotive technician with Reagan Automotive. Other survivors include his mother, Ann Noe, Jefferson City; his father, William Zumwalt, Sr., Jefferson City; and one brother, Kenneth Wayne (Clarissa) Zumwalt, Hiram, Georgia. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2013, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Koeltztown, Missouri, with the Rev. Msgr. Marion J. Makarewicz officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday, December 22nd, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 1 p.m. Additional visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Monday at the church. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.   3. Ann, you have my sincere sympathy on the death of your son. Mary Margaret, I am sorry for the loss of your husband. Ann was my teacher and Mary Margaret was a Saint Thomas playmate when I was a child. I am so sorry for your loss.
