Bruce Allan Ziebarth, 60, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on June 6, 1953, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of the late Shelley George and Virginia Mae Gaskey Stone. He was married on December 9, 2000, in Fenton, Missouri, to Linda Sue Carlson who survives at the home. Mr. Ziebarth was a 1971 graduate of Davenport High School; graduated from Southside School of Preaching, Harrison, Arkansas; and received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Ministry degree from Southern Christian University, Mobile, Alabama. He was employed as a Claims Technician with the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations for the past fourteen years. He was previously a Minister of the Gospel with the church of Christ for twenty-five years. A member of the Miller Street church of Christ, Mr. Ziebarth was an avid woodworker, furniture maker, and guitarist, and especially enjoyed quilting and sewing with his wife. Other survivors include two sons, Bruce Carl Ziebarth, Jr. (Jill), Hallsville, Missouri; and James Lee Ziebarth, Jefferson City; and two grandchildren, William Carl Ziebarth and Dylan James Ziebarth. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Stone and Ted Ziebarth; and one sister, Sandy Rongers. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2013, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Bruce C. Ziebarth, Jr. and Mark White officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, December 16th, at Longview Cemetery, Jefferson City. Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Sunday, December 15th, at the funeral home.
