Geraldine Frances "Gerri" Lock, 67, of Jefferson City, died Friday, August 30, 2013, at her residence. She was born on May 14, 1946, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Anna (Steinman) Reinkemeyer. She was a 1964 graduate of Fatima High School in Westphalia. She was united in marriage on August 26, 1967, in Jefferson City, to Gary Russell Lock who survives at the home. Gerri worked as a legislative aide for Blue Cross & Blue Shield for 26 years retiring in 2001. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Ann's Sodality, and was a member of the Meadow Lake Acres Country Club where she served on the Board of Directors. Gerri enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, and was an avid golfer. Other survivors include: two sons, Jay (Vicki) Lock, Lenexa, KS; Derrick Lock (fiance Lorena Uscola) Reno, NV; four grandchildren, Kristin Lock; Tylar Lock; Jayson Lock; Nathan Lock; eight siblings, Jerome (Margaret) Reinkemeyer, Argyle; Genovieve (Felix) Jurgensmeyer, Koeltztown; Marvin (Marcie) Reinkemeyer, St. Martins; Julie Buschjost, Wardsville; Mary Meinhardt, Jefferson City; Delores "Dedie" (Dick) Otke, Jefferson City; Rosie (Ralph) Dulle, Jefferson City; Liz (Tony) Grosso, Paris, TX; and a brother-in-law, Donald Huhman. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Georgena Huhman; and a brother-in-law, Leonard Buschjost. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, September 2, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. David D. Cox officiating.
