Norma Jean Ann "Jeannie" Eisterhold, 76, of Rich Fountain, died Saturday, August 17, 2013, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born October 30, 1936, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Casper and Anna (Huhmann) Eichholz. She attended Meta School and graduated from Fatima High School. She was united in marriage on September 1, 1956, in Meta to Elmer Henry Eisterhold who preceded her in death May of 1983. Mrs. Eisterhold retired from the Missouri Department of Employment Security after 42 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain. She enjoyed playing cards, watching Cardinal baseball, bird watching, and especially her grandchildren. Survivors include: three children, Richard (Tina) Eisterhold, Rich Fountain; Robert (Bridget) Eisterhold, Taos; Diane (Brian) Flores, Westphalia; eight grandchildren, Daniel Eisterhold, Quincie Eisterhold, Andrew Eisterhold, Meredith Eisterhold, Lucas Eisterhold, Sabrina Eisterhold, Cierra Flores, Ethan Flores; and one sister, Lenora Greenberg, Eureka. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister, Anna Buenger; and two brothers, Walter Eichholz and Lawrence Eichholz. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rich Fountain with the Rev. Augustine Okoli officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:30-7:30 p.m. Monday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donors choice.
