Joseph Vincent Boeckmann, 83, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, April 06, 2013, at The Neighborhoods by Tiger Place in Columbia, Missouri. He was born October 19, 1929, in Koeltztown, Missouri, the son of the late Stephen and Adelheide (Luebbert) Boeckmann. He was united in marriage on July 27, 1957, to Gertrude Falter who preceded him in death on July 18, 1974. On June 28, 1975, he was married to Anna Marie (Tucker) Jaromack who still survives. Mr. Boeckmann began working as a farmer and then worked as an assembly line worker for General Motors, and finally worked for First Student Bus Company as a monitor. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Other survivors include: one daughter, Janice (Michael) Mulvihill, St. Louis; three step-children, Carolyn (David) Wagner, Columbia; John Jaromack, Oklahoma City, OK; Rose Marie (Robert) Payne, St. Louis; eleven grandchildren, Thomas Mulvihill, Melissa Mulvihill, Daniel Mulvihill, Gary Mulvihill, Michael Mulvihill, Jr., Brian Wagner, Matthew Wagner, Demitri Jaromack, Allysa Jaromack, Rachel Neighbors, Nathan Smith; six great-grandchildren, Sarah Mulvihill, Brittany Mulvihill, Austin Mulvihill, Abigail Mulvihill, Maxwell Wagner, Sofia Wagner; two brothers, David (Esther) Boeckmann, Taos; Art (Helen) Boeckmann, Wardsville; five sisters, Monica Bruemmer, Jefferson City; Viola (Elmer) Weber, Westphalia; Rosemary (Ray) Bishop, St. Martins; Frances (Fred) Schwartze, Vienna; Anna Marie (Bill) Reinkemeyer, Jefferson City; and four sisters-in-law, Bernice Boeckmann, Linn; Agnes (Ken) Uplinger, Loose Creek; Catherine Brandt, Jefferson City; and Mary Jo Bure, Argyle. He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Alphonse, Lawrence, Victor, Herbert, and Raymond Boeckmann; seven brothers-in-law, Tony Bisges, Martin Wolken, Victor Bruemmer, Alphonse Brandt, Fred Bure, Bernard Falter, and Charles Falter; and four sisters-in-law, Margaret, Clara, Emma, and Margie Boeckmann. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Colin Franklin officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Westphalia, Missouri. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1206 East McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Mo 65101.
