Dear Tim and Family:
I am so sorry to learn of Steve’s passing. He was an important big brother figure, mentor, and coach in our lives. I have great memories of Steve and you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Just this past Fall I used a baseball theme for the United Way Division I headed up in Springfield. Bill Virdon, was our Honorary Coach, the NL Rookie of the Year in 1955 for the Cardinals. I was the catcher and, like you, we were Rookies of the Year in 1955 in our families! Our Police Chief Paul Williams was the Co-Chairman of the Campaign and I referenced you and your position with the Patrol. We had a great campaign and so Steve’s legacy lives on with me down here!

Dear Mary, Tim and Family
Dad just called from Jeff City, and I have no words to say how sorry I am to hear of Steve’s passing. Growing up on the same street has made for so many wonderful memories of Steve. He will always be held with love in the hearts of Mark, David and myself. God be with all of you in the days to follow.

Dear Mrs. Schlueter. I am so sorry for your loss.I really liked that guy! From our early times as neighbors and through his adult years,he was the most decent and kind person I knew.
My condolences to the Schlueter family, especially to Sheri and to Tim. I lost my older brother to a sudden heart attack, so I know the heartbreak you are experiencing.
I was so shocked when I heard about Steve’s passing. My sympathy and prayers are with you all. We were so close like brother and sister and I will dearly miss him, A “One of a kind” person in this world we live in. I love him so much!
I was shocked to hear of Steve’s passing. We were very close neighbors on Lola Drive many years ago and played ball for several years until he moved to Arizona. One of the things that I still remember about Steve, even though it was almost 40 years ago was playing softball in a prison league. Steve, who wasn’t known for his power, hit a long ball against the outfield brick wall near its base. As a result, we called Steve “Brick & a half” after that. Those were really fun and memorable days. We are so sorry for your loss.
Aunt Mary and the Schlueter Family. I was stunned when Chip called and gave me the news. My prayers and condolences to each of you who have suffered the loss of Steve. Having lost Lou this past January makes this all to real. Blessings and Peace.
Love, prayers and deepest sympathy to your family.

Dear Schlueter Family,
I am sorry to read of your loss. During this time looking to Jehovah God can give you comfort and hope. At John 5:28,29 it says “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgement.” The resurrection hope is when our loved ones are woken up from death and then we are reunited with them. Can you imagine such a happy time? We can be sure that this time is vastly approaching. I hope this though helps you cope. Remember to look to Jahocah God and he will help you cope.
