GERTRUDE EMMA KAISER

December 10, 1913 ~ November 10, 2012
She was born on December 10, 1913, in Cole County, the daughter of the late Philip Edward and Clara Helen Schleer Kaiser.
A 1929 graduate of St. Peter High School, Miss Kaiser retired in 1978 as a secretary with General Adjustment Bureau in Jefferson City where she had been employed for forty years.
She was a long-time member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality.
She is survived by eight nieces and nephews, Mary Martin (Edwin) Rackers, Jefferson City; Charles (Joyce) Kaiser, Jefferson City; Stephen (Lavonne) Kaiser, Houston, Texas; Mark (Debbie) Kaiser, Midland, Michigan; Dr. Michael (Suzanne) Cowley, Richmond, Virginia; Dr. Stephen (Ginger) Cowley, Birmingham, Alabama; Patrick (Joy) Cowley, Birmingham, Alabama; and Ann (Ron) Wallace, Birmingham, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Rosemary Zelder, Sophia Butsy Cowley, and Ruth Oberlander; two brothers, Ed Kaiser and Julius Bud Kaiser; one niece, Ann Ihler; and one nephew, Philip Kaiser.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Austin Okoli officiating.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
