BRENT WARD

May 16, 1958 ~ August 26, 2012
Brent was born May 16, 1958, in Jonesboro, to Norman and Fern (Billingsley) Ward. Brent lived in Leachville until his family moved to Jefferson City, Missouri in 1972.
He graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1976 where he excelled in basketball. Brent attended the University of Missouri in Columbia.
Brent owned and operated the "Off The Wall" comedy club in Springfield. Brent was later employed by various auto dealerships in the Springfield and Jefferson City areas. He returned to Leachville in 2008 to manage the family farm.
Survivors include: 2 sons, Samuel Grason Ward and his wife, Karolina of Ft. Lewis, Washington; Eli Cass-Ward of Springfield, Missouri; 2 daughters, Caroline Kate Ward of Kansas City, Missouri; Elizabeth Grace Ward of Jefferson City, Missouri. Brent also leaves his parents, Norman and Fern (Billingsley) Ward of Jefferson City, Missouri; his grandmother, Talmadge Billingsley of Jonesboro; and his granddaughter, Alexis Timmons.
Brent was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grason and Eula Mae Ward and Byron Billingsley, and a very special aunt, Linda Jean Billingsley.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday September 22, 2012, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from Noon-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. & Mrs. Ward and children: I just wanted to say that I am very sorry about Brent’s passing. I am glad that he is at peace and as most of us hopes, that he is in Gods care. I will remember him as a good and bright spirit.

I was a friend of Brent’s back in JCHS and a co-worker at A & W Root Beer back then. He was a good fried, but years had separated us. I am sorry for your loss.
