  1. Hello Marilyn, I just saw Storm’s obituary in the Columbia Tribune. I can’t remember the last time I saw him but it was quite awhile ago. He was still ‘The President’ to me then. Guess he always will be. They only made one of him. I hope you and your boys are able to deal with losing the old boy. The last time I saw you was when you were leaving his house on Worley here in Columbia when he was already in Arizona.Seems like another lifetime doesn’t it? Best wishes from an old friend, Greg

  2. Marilyn- my deepest sympathy to you and your sons. So very sorry to hear of Storm’s death. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  3. To the family of Storm Russell,I worked with Storm at the District 6 Probation & Parole Office. I am sorry for your loss. Storm was always larger than life, which makes his loss even greater. I talked a lot with Storm a lot about his experiences serving in Vietnam and I let him know that I appreciated his service to our country during a time when many were not willing to step up and serve. I hope you all heal from the loss with each day that passes. I know I’ll always remember him.Layton Light

  4. I use to work with Storm in the Columbia Probation office. He was a good officer. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  5. Marilyn and boys,We were so shocked and saddened to read in the paper of Storm’s passing. Please accept our sincere sympathy and know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.Tom and Ann Waters

  6. My love and thoughts are with you all..I know this is a terrible, painful loss, but I also know he is now pain free & in eternal peace, love & joy. God bless you all. Tana

  7. Marilyn and Sons:Sorry to hear about your loss, you’re in my prayers during this time. Keep in mind the hope of a resurrection that’s promised.

  8. Storm was a fellow tanker with Co.B 2/34 Armor. I was the XO of the company. Storm and I shared some funny moments in VN, one of them being the night the ammo dump in Dau Tieng exploded, it went on all night. It is always sad to lose a good Christian man, but he is in heaven with his Savior. We will all meet him at the final “Stand Down” in heaven. He is at peace. Our prayers are with his whole family. Dominic & Marsha Stimola

  9. Marilyn, Andrew and Matt, Please know that we are thinking about you during this difficult time. Your friends .. Kirby and Rhonda
