Paul Franklin Hill, III, 37, of Jefferson City, died Friday, February 17, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on August 3, 1974, in Memphis, Tenn., the son of Paul Franklin Hill, Jr., and Sandra Nelda Grimm Hill.
He was a 1992 graduate and Salutatorian of New Madrid County Central High School, New Madrid, Mo. He entered Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau, Mo., as a Governors Scholar and Bright Flight Scholar and graduated in 1999.
Paul was employed for the past twelve years as a Computer Information Tech Four with the Missouri Office of Administration.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, New Madrid, Mo.; and enjoyed gaming, comic books, Gen Con, and collecting action memorabilia.
Survivors include his parents, Paul and Sandra Hill, New Madrid, Mo.; one sister, Heather Hill, Birmingham, Ala.; one aunt, Sammy Carroll, Milton, Fla.; and one uncle, Milton (Nancee) Grimm, Florissant, Mo.
Services will be 12 noon Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Dumas officiating.
Visitation will be 11 to 12 noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the National Marfan Foundation, 22 Manhasset Avenue, Port Washington, NY 11050; or a charity of the donors choice.

  9. Hi,I jsut want to tell you, the family of Paul, what a kind man Paul was. I have worked for the Department of Health and Senior Services for about 7 1/2 years and have worked with Paul on several occasions when I would have computer issues. Believe me, computers and me do not get along and Paul was always so very patient with me. He also always had a way of making me laugh. Paul was truly a kind man.

  18. Paul had wonderful I.T. expertise and always did his work cheerfully, in spite of unhappy people looking for that quick computer repair or installation. I think he brought a smile to their faces 100% of the time! He will be missed; many thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

  34. I had the privelege of supervising Paul for several years and I can honestly say that he put his heart and soul into his work. Despite physical flaws he never gave up or slowed down. I admire his ability to overcome his physical challenges and accomplish so many things. He was a very unique individual and he will be sadly missed for a long, long time.   35. I want to express my deepest condolences to Paul’s family. Paul and I lived for 3 years on the same dorm floor (12 South) at Southeast Missouri and while I hadn’t spoken with him in several years I consider him a good friend. He was a unique man and he will certainly be missed greatly!

  41. To Paul’s Family, Please know you have my deepest sympathy for the passing of Paul. He was so kind and always wanted to talk when coming to our office. He told me about his injuries but never complained and always positive. You must have raised him to be positive and caring because he was. He died much too young but I know he will be talking to the angels now. God bless Paul and his family.
