  1. Ron, Betty, JoAnn and families ~ We wanted to send our condolences to you and your families on the loss of a wonderful man. We are not able to attend the funeral but please know we are thinking of you. Uncle Hubie was one of my favorites, and we had many! A gentle and warm man with a big smile is the memory I will always treasure. It seems like yesterday I sat at the bar in their basement at Christmastime and ordered a Shirley Temple. I was probably 10 years old! Aunt Myrina always had great cookies to complement Uncle Hubie’s “cocktails”. I hope the wonderful memories you have of your dad will get you through this time of sorrow. Bless you all!

  2. To family and relatives of Hubie:My heart is truly saddened when I heard about Hubie’s passing. Although God saw fit to take him to His Eternal Care we here on earth will miss the memories of his uplifting demeanor, moral guidance, and his spirituality. I personally have fond memories of visits to his house during the holidays or just dropping in on him and Myrina. He truly possessed a remarkable spirit of faith, hope and charity. When I fly back to Missouri at the end of this week I will look out of the window of the plane and reminisce about his inspiring qualities that he shared with us during his life on this earth. My Peaceful Thoughts and Paryaers are with all of you.Ralph JobeFairburn, GA1/17/2012

  3. I have many fond memories of Grandpa Wolken working in his yard and playing pool in his basement “around the pole”. He was one hard-working family man and the world is better because the life he lived. Our condolences to entire Wolken family and you’re in our family’s prayers.

  4. Our sympathy to the family. Sheila will be so happy to see her godfather, Uncle Hubie as he enters the kingdom of God. May their souls rest in peace. Love to all the family.

  5. Donna – I remember so many fun times at your house. Your dad was the Master Barbecue-R. I’ll see you and your family at visitation on Wednesday. Jeanette (and Bill)

  6. We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Hubie. He was an amazing man and lived a full life. He was not only the kind of man people wanted to be, he was the kind of man people would be proud to be. In thoughts and prayers, Chris, Brenda, Christa & Landon
