Anna Klug, 96, of Independence, Mo. formerly of Jefferson City, died Friday, October 28, 2011, at Monterey Park Nursing Center in Independence.
She was born on December 20, 1914, in Bratislava, Hungary, the daughter of the late Anna Lenard.
She was united in marriage on September 20, 1940, to Mike Klug who preceded her in death on December 9, 1979.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Independence and a former member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Jefferson City for 35 years. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and baking.
Survivors include: one son, Mike Klug, Jr., Independence, Mo.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Francis W. Doyle, officiating.
Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
