Janet Louise Eggen Taylor, 74, of Jefferson City, died Monday, June 20, 2011, at Oak Tree Villas.
She was born on February 20, 1937, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Clarence Fenton and Edna Louise Lee Phillips.
She was united in marriage on August 25, 1956, in Jefferson City, to Paul Amos Eggen who preceded her in death on November 12, 2004. On January 6, 2006, she married Clinton Luther Taylor who survives at the home.
A homemaker all her life, she was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, garage sales, and most especially she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Other survivors include: two sons, Jerome (Cynthia) Eggen, Centertown; Jerold (Maureen) Eggen, St. Thomas; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Allan (Linda) Phillips, Fairplay, Co.; and David (Rhonda) Phillips, Las Vegas, NV.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Dr. Brian K. Credille officiating.
Burial will be in Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
