HOWARD JOSEPH HASLAG, JR.

April 30, 1981 ~ June 14, 2011
He was born on April 30, 1981, in Fayetteville, Ark., the son of Howard and the late Emma Haslag.
Growing up in Linn, Mo., he was a member of the Junior Volunteer Fire Department and attended Linn public schools. He was currently employed with Homeland Roofing and had previously worked for All-Safe Enterprises and RoCan Construction.
Joe enjoyed fishing, camping, bicycling, barbequing, traveling, target shooting, and spending time with friends and family.
He was a strong supporter of the Republican Party, the National Rife Association, and was an outspoken advocate of the First and Second Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.
He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and his beloved pets.
Survivors include his father, Howard Haslag, Sr., of Mexico, Mo.; one sister, Sue Noe, Jennings, Fla.; nieces Angela and Jessica, nephew Ricky, Uncle Donny and his wife, Connie, Haslag, Linn, Mo.; Larry Haslag of Jefferson City; two aunts, Virginia Pottebaum, Mexico, Mo.; and Dolores Ball, Hannibal, Mo.; and a close friend, Kim Oliver, Jefferson City.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rathael and Bernice Haslag,, Linn, Mo.; and his maternal grandparents, Alex and Marie Smith, Fayetteville, Ark.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June, 25, 2011, at 508 Mulberry Street, Jefferson City.
Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I am very sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. I can’t believe he is really gone. I am still in total disbelief. He was such a great person and no one can ever take that away from him.
