Bernard H. Lueckenotte, 75, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

He was born February 17, 1947, in Jefferson City, the son of Isidore John and Mary Adeline (Wolken) Lueckenotte.

Bernard attended and received specialized schooling through the Jefferson City School District. He worked at the Sheltered Workshop (Capital Projects) for more than thirty years until his health declined.

He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church.

Bernard enjoyed listening to the radio with his favorite country western and classic rock music. In earlier years he liked watching the St. Louis Cardinals and loved to tinker with lawn mowers and anything mechanical.

Survivors include three brothers, Fred (Maxine) Lueckenotte, Manchester, Missouri; Joe (Susie) Lueckenotte, Jefferson City; William “Bill” (Diana) Lueckenotte, McGirk; three sisters, Joan (Bill) Whittle, Centertown; Betty Farris (Dale Nevins), Jefferson City; Agnes (Kenneth) Brenneke, Wentzville; fourteen nieces and nephews; twenty-three great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Stanley Lueckenotte, an infant John Lueckenotte; and a sister, Karen Lueckenotte.

A Funeral was held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2022, at Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Lueckenotte officiating.

Burial was in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery.
