Senior Chief Petty Officer, Robert “Patrick” Johnson, 43, of Virginia, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023.

He was born July 8, 1979, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the son of Charles William and Mary Ann (Long) Johnson.

Patrick was a devoted dad and a friend to all. From coaching his boys, taking them fishing, and watching movies, Patrick was the life of every room and would stop at nothing to make someone laugh or smile. He would sing at the top of his lungs and make sure he asked you what your favorite song was so he could add it to his list.  Patrick lived his life in high definition and loved music, movies, and books.  He loved sharing his energy with others. 

Aside from his family, Patrick was most proud of his service in the United States Navy.  Patrick served from September 25, 2001, until his retirement August 31, 2022.  Patrick made many friends in the Navy as he advanced in the ranks and was a mentor to many throughout the years.

Patrick is survived by: his wife, Jennifer and their three amazing boys, Benjamin Ian (15), Owen Andrew (12), and Elliot Liam (8); his mother Mary Ann Johnson; his sisters, Elizabeth Irene (J.D.) Sosnoff,Megan Lorene (Joe) Braun, Temperance Louise Johnson (Julio Cervantes), his twin, Mary Kathleen (John) Nemec; and his many nieces and nephews.

Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Charles William Johnson and his grandparents.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jefferson City.  A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Brad Berhorst officiating.
