Paul Joseph Neutzler, 99, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023, at Heisinger Bluffs.

He was born May 23, 1924, in Jefferson City, the son of Paul Lawrence and Alma Marie (Schrimpf) Neutzler.

Paul attended school in Wardsville.  He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

He was employed by Tweedie Footwear and also by Jefferson City Coca-Cola Bottling Company from 1969 till his retirement in 2009.

Survivors include his sister, Mary Ann Neutzler, Jefferson City; four nieces, Sr. Kathleen Wegman, SSND, Carol (Gary) Meyer, Janet (Wayne) Chinn, Mary Jo (Donald) Distler, one nephew, Mark (Tracy) Wegman; two great-nieces; and five great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Dorothy (Leroy) Wegman.

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Trimble Funeral Homes – Jefferson City.  A prayer service will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Matthew Flatley officiating.

Burial will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the School Sisters of Notre Dame or to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
