Denzil Lyman Morrow, 87, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025, at his residence.

He was born August 3, 1937, in Russellville, Missouri the son of the late Joseph Lyman and Carrie Leona (Campbell) Morrow.

He was a 1955 graduate of Russellville High School.

On December 1, 1962, in Hughesville, Missouri, Denzil was united in marriage to Pamela May Shireman who survives at the home.

Denzil worked at MFA out of high school and later served with the US Army Reserves for 6 years.  While in the reserves, he ran heavy equipment for the Department of Conservation until 1968 when he started Morrow Excavating.  In 1980, he went to work at ESM Landfill.  He also farmed the entire time he ran equipment.  After retiring from Laidlaw Waste, he worked with his son Ronnie who had taken over Morrow Excavating.

He was a member of Cole Spring Baptist Church in Russellville and a former member of Russellville Baptist Church.

Denzil loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was a Godly man, hardworking, and Christian role model.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Morrow, Russellville; four children, Tammy (Steve) Hays, Vichy, MO; Doug (Jamie) Morrow, Versailles; Ronnie (Patricia) Morrow, Russellville; Sandra (Shawn) Ehrhardt, Russellville; seven grandchildren, Rachel (Clayton) Williams, Carrie (Lincoln) Purvis, Hannah (Michael) Harrington, Allison Morrow, Shelby Morrow, Georgia Ehrhardt, James Ehrhardt; four great grandchildren, Lillian Williams, Jaxyn Williams, Raeleigh Williams, Sterling Harrington; and two brothers, Bob Morrow, Eldon; and David (Charlene) Morrow, Russellville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Henry Ehrhardt; and a sister-in-law, Ruby Morrow.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Trimble Funeral Homes – Russellville.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, at Cole Spring Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Morrow officiating.

Burial will be in Enloe Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home or to the American Diabetes Association.
