Dear Cathy,
I always liked your mother so much. She was my partner as Eucharistic Ministers at St. Mary. She reminded me of my own mother, who resides at Oak Tree Villa in Jefferson City. May she rest in peace.
Dale and I won’t be able to attend the funeral, as we will be babysitting our grandchildren.
Sincerely, Joyce Amick
So many happy memories of time spent at the Fick house when we lived in their neighborhood!
Mike and I send our love to Carol, Cathy, and families; may God grant you strength and comfort in the days ahead.

So many fond memories of growing up with Carol in Jefferson City, overnights at the house, playing Uno in the basement on New Years Eve, visiting over the holidays during our college years. Mr. and Mrs. Fick always made me feel welcome and part of the family. Tom and I send our love to you, Carol and Cathy and families.
Cathy, your mom and dad were two of the sweetest people I know. What a blessing to have had your beautiful mother this long.
I’ll never forget the time that your dad drove us back to college in a snowstorm! He got us there safely, but he had to spend the night in Kansas City. I remember he was so good natured about the whole experience.
Prayers for you and your family,
Susie Vogel
Hi Cathy, I am sorry for your loss and want to extend my sympathy to you and your family. I know it’s difficult to lose a parent. Your Mom was very kind to all of us neighborhood kids on East McCarty and Gordon Streets in the 1960’s. My parents, Fred and Esther Bode, really enjoyed knowing your parents. With prayers and fond memories, -Elaine Bode-Oliver.
