Selena Rose Ramos

Selena Rose Ramos, 30, of Jefferson City, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025, at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, following complications from an aggressive cancer.
She was born on May 16, 1995, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Felix Ramos and Dawn Deborah (Kempker) Ramos.
Selena was a 2013 graduate of Fatima High School in Westphalia.
Selena spent much of her life working in customer-focused roles, where her outgoing personality and bright smile made her a natural fit. She was proud of her work and especially loved her time as a server at Texas Roadhouse
Singing and dancing were two of her greatest passions, and she adored her cats Billie, Mac ‘n Cheese, and Lucius. Selena will be remembered for her infectious sense of humor, her big heart, and the love she showed to family, friends, and even strangers.
Survivors include her father, Felix Ramos of Jefferson City; her brother, Derek Ramos of Jefferson City; her maternal grandmother, Rose Kempker of Westphalia; her half-brother, Xavier Ramos; her aunts and uncles, Diane (Raymond) Morgan of Folk; David Kempker of Folk; Dwayne (Tanya) Kempker of Folk; Doris West of Freeburg; Donna Kesel of Folk; and Delores (Lynn) Kempker of Folk; her god-daughter, Delilah Patterson; and many cousins and extended family members who loved her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her grandfather, Virgil Kempker; and her aunt and uncles, Deborah Thompson, Daniel Kempker, and Darlene Welschmeyer.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Trimble Funeral Homes – Jefferson City. A prayer service will follow at 4:00 p.m., with Deacon Jim Haaf officiating.
