She was born on October 8, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois to Ledrue and Lillian (Hencke) Miller.
She graduated high school and attended cosmetology school.
Sue worked at various nursing homes in Missouri and the state of California.
She enjoyed knitting, reading, sewing, puzzles, tending to her plants and having coffee with her friends.
She is survived by a son, Paul (Michelle) Alvarez in the state of California, three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Mark Alvarez.
