Jennifer Ann Armistead, 64, of Jefferson City, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 13, 1961, in St. Louis, the daughter of Shirley Patricia (Loethen) and the late James Kevin Corrigan, Sr.

She was united in marriage on July 12, 1995, to Sidney Johnston Armistead who preceded her in death on June 7, 2006.

Jennifer was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, attended St. Peter School, was a 1979 graduate of Helias Catholic High School, and later attended Central Missouri State University. Her most cherished roles were those of wife, mother, and grandmother. She also worked for the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and shared her exceptional sense of style during her years at Saffee’s.

She loved her family fiercely, and nothing brought her greater joy than time with her grandchildren-the light of her life-who will always remember how she made every meal and moment feel special when they were with her.

A lover of flowers and “pretty things,” she kept her home beautiful inside and out. She enjoyed gardening and creating spaces that brought her both joy and peace.

She and her beloved husband, Sid, treasured their travels together-especially to tropical beaches and their many fun-filled trips to Las Vegas. She embraced every holiday and birthday with enthusiasm, finding the perfect gift, creating unforgettable celebrations, and earning a reputation as the family’s ultimate party host.

She also cherished time with friends-shopping trips, meals out, church picnics, and conversations at local coffee shops. Her warmth, generous spirit, and gift for making others feel special will be remembered always.

She is survived by her mother, Shirley Corrigan; daughters, Samantha (Adam) Kelly and Jessica Campbell; step-son, Sidney “Jay” (Diane) Armistead; grandchildren, Madeline Armistead, Benjamin, Annalise, and Wyatt Kelly and Avery Campbell; step-grandchildren, David (Brandy) Clark and Emily (Justin) Logan; her siblings, James Kevin (Leigh Ann) Corrigan, Jr., Sarah (Jeff) Gerling and Chris (Julie) Corrigan; nieces, a nephew, and extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her father, and niece, Tabatha Corrigan.
