Margaret "Marge" Neuner Bose

Margaret “Marge” Neuner Bose, 96, of Jefferson City, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Stone Bridge-Westphalia Hills.

She was born on August 9, 1929, in Freeburg, Missouri, the daughter of Theodore J. and Elizabeth Ann (Lueckenhoff) Neuner.

Marge was a 1947 graduate of Holy Family School in Freeburg, and then graduated in 1951 from St. John’s School of Nursing in St. Louis.

Marge worked as a Registered Nurse for Touro Hospital in New Orleans, where she met the love her life Bill, before coming back to Jefferson City, to work at St Mary’s Hospital, and VA Hospital in Columbia.

She was united in marriage on September 24, 1953, at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Freeburg to William Joseph “Bill” Bose who preceded her in death on January 29, 2022.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Guadalupe Circle, Immaculate Conception Church Circle, and St. Anne’s Sodality.

Marge liked to garden, paint, sew, and was a student of literature and poetry, sang in the choir, and enjoyed classical music.

Survivors include her four children; Jeffrey W. (Angela) Bose, Lee’s Summit; Thomas J. Bose, Jefferson City; Ann E. McCormack, Holts Summit; and Missy M. Hall, Jefferson City; seven grandchildren, Jacob M. (Melissa) McCormack, Shannon E. (Scott) Koelzer, Courtney A. (David) Brown, Garrett C. (Krista) McCormack, Dillon J. Hall, Nicholas S. Bose, and Daniel W. (Megan) Bose; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five siblings, Erma Hasenbeck, Loretta Neuner, Irene Neuner, Theodore Neuner, Mary Ann Neuner; and an infant brother, Harry Neuner.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11a.m., Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Matthew J. Flatley and Rev. Bill Debo officiating.

Burial will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
