Dean Alexander Halvorson
March 4, 1955 ~ May 25, 2026
Dean Alexander Halvorson, 71, of Jefferson City, beloved husband and father passed away on Monday May 25th, 2026.
He was born March 4, 1955, in Redding, California, the son of Merril and Sarah (Hall) Halvorson.
He was united in marriage on March 21, 1981, in Reno, Nevada to Ronda Rae “Ronnie” Larson who survives.
Dean spent his career as a sorting operator with Louisiana Pacific Saw Mill.
His life was filled with trials, but he found comfort in the Lord. He worked hard for many years and found pride in his ability to work on small engines. He developed several other skills and hobbies throughout his life including leatherworking, reloading ammunition, and playing the guitar.
He tried to help others often times going above and beyond, even helping a local gym by washing the towels while the owner was gone.
His passions were clear in his decisions in supporting the current president, happily discussing what was going to change for the better to make America great. His belief in the country and the lord were high in his life, giving him guidance as well as comfort. He was deeply loved and will be missed.
He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Ronnie Halvorson, Jefferson City; two children, Stephanie Ann Bachman, Jefferson City; Erin Ashley Halvorson, Galveston, TX; a grandson, Robert Alexander Bachman; and five siblings, Debra Clark, Taylor TX; Tammy Halvorson, Orville, CA; Randy Halvorson, CA; Toni Jester, TX; and Robin Granlund, Orville, CA.
