Ryan Joseph Borman
August 26, 1981 ~ June 6, 2026
Ryan Joseph Borman, 44, of Lohman, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born on August 26, 1981, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the son of Mark and Wanda (Verslues) Borman.
Ryan was a 2000 graduate of Helias Catholic High School and earned his degree from Central Methodist University in 2005.
On April 25, 2009, he married the love of his life, Courtney Marie Tucker, at St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martins, Missouri. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and community, raising their four children: Landon, Jackson, Bailey, and Brooklyn.
Ryan began his career in the landscaping industry before becoming a supervisor in building maintenance for the Sam B. Cook Healthplex. Since 2017, he proudly served the Jefferson City Public School District in building maintenance, where he was known for his strong work ethic, his willingness to help others, and the friendships he formed along the way.
A devoted member of St. Martin Catholic Church, Ryan was also active in the St. Martins Knights of Columbus and the Jefferson City Sportsman Club.
Ryan had a passion for the outdoors and loved spending time golfing, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making people feel welcome with his easy conversation and warm personality. Above all, Ryan treasured his family. His greatest joy in life was being a husband and father, and he loved nothing more than spending time with Courtney and their children.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Courtney; his children, Landon, Jackson, Bailey, and Brooklyn; his parents, Mark and Wanda Borman of Henley; his brother, Eric (Lauren) Borman of St. Charles, Missouri; his parents-in-law, Matthew and Sharon Tucker of Jefferson City; his sister-in-law, Chelsey (Dustin) Pohl of St. Thomas, Missouri; his grandmother, Laurine Verslues of Taos; his nieces and nephews, Aubrey Borman, Owen Borman, Nora Borman, Whitley Pohl, and Houston Pohl; as well as many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley Verslues and Pete and Betty Borman, along with other beloved family members who will welcome him into eternal life.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Trimble Funeral Homes in Jefferson City, with a prayer service beginning at 3:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12, 2026, at St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martins, with the Rev. Brad Berhorst officiating. Burial will follow at the New St. Martin Cemetery.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
Psalms 46:1
There are no words for the pain of losing a child. I’m so sorry for your loss. Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
My thoughts are with you during this extremely difficult time. I hope you and the kids find peace and know he will be missed by all that knew him, met him over the years or worked with him at Capital Region.
I was in Ryan’s class in high school, and have only good memories of him back then. Sounds like he grew up to be a great man. I’m so sorry for his family’s loss. 😞
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Mark and Wanda. May he rest in peace and may God comfort you and the family as you navigate this unimaginable journey.
