Joyce Elizabeth Becker, 93, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at StoneBridge Senior Living-Villa Marie.
She was born on May 2, 1933, in Vassar, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph and Velma Helen (King) Szagesh.
Joyce worked at the State of Missouri Department of Revenue.
She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
She is survived by four children, Dawn (Dan) Heet, Jefferson City; Scott Humpert, Springtown, TX; Penny Cutler, Kansas City, Missouri; and Kimberly (Shannon) Smith, Ft. Myers, Florida; four grandchildren, Lindsey Heet, Hannah Pharis, Natalie Stillians, and Ethan Smith; two great-grandchildren, William Pharis, and Blake Pharis; and one brother, Joseph Szagesh, Michigan.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen Humpert; a sister, Irene Peterson; a brother, Richard (Josie) Szagesh; and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Szagesh.
Private family services will be held.
