Patricia A. Sartor

Patricia A. Sartor, 74, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026, at her residence.

She was born June 21, 1952, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Harold and Virginia (Ferguson) Rung.

Pat first met her future husband, Richard “Dick” Sartor when they attended college together.  Several years later, they reconnected working in the pharmacy at Gerbes and were married on May 16, 1981, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph.  Richard was her rock, always there for her.

Pat graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1970 and was a 1973 graduate of St. Louis College of Pharmacy.  Over her career, Pat worked as a pharmacy manager at numerous pharmacies in the central Missouri area including Whaley’s, Fulton State Hospital, Tolson Drug, and Wal-Mart.  In 1974, along with Richard, they opened the Gerbes West Pharmacy.

Pat’s family was always her priority.  She loved her family and took great pride in being there for them.  She especially loved her time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Nicole (Daniel) Christensen of Tebbetts; son, Bryan Sartor of Hartsburg; and four grandchildren, David, Cole, Cohen, and Silas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Richard (Dick) Sartor on March 20, 2026.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2026, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Stephen Jones, VG officiating.

Burial will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Masses.
