Amanda Raye Baker

Amanda Raye Baker, 48, of Jefferson City, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital.
She was born on July 7, 1977, in Columbia, Missouri, the daughter of Gregory and Diane (Couch) Riley.
A 1995 graduate of Jefferson City High School, Amanda received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Childhood Education from Missouri State University in 2000.
Amanda worked as a prevention specialist at the State of Missouri Department of Mental Health.
In her free time, Amanda liked to cook and watch the cooking channel. Her family was her number one priority, and she loved being a mother to all her children.
Survivors include her fiancé, Joel Rencher, Jefferson City; children, William Baker, Jaylen Rencher, Jace Rencher, Jorden Rencher, and Jacob Rencher, all of Jefferson City; her parents, Gregory and Diane Riley; and a brother, Kevin Riley, Jefferson City.
Memorials are suggested to the Boys and Girls Club of Jefferson City, 1105 Lafeyette Street, 65109, Attn Amanda Springer, in memory of Amanda Baker.
A Celebration of Life for Amanda will be held by the family at a later date.

I thank Gid for the blessing Amanda was to my nephew Joel. and to her entire family. I am glad I was able to see her recently and give her one last hug. She will be missed and lioved by all who knew her.
