Barry James Moore, 70, of Edinburg, Texas, formerly of Lake Ozark, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at Heisinger Bluffs in Jefferson City. He was born October 17, 1945, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of the late James Logan and Mary Elizabeth (Black) Moore. Barry spent most of his life as a boat mechanic around the Lake Ozark area. He also co-founded and co-owned Glencove Marina at the Lake of the Ozarks. Since his retirement, he loved to travel with his wife Jo Ann in their RV and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Noel, Edinburg, Texas; five children, Cheri (Tony) Middendorf, New Bloomfield; Tambra Galarnyk, St. Louis; James Moore, Jefferson City; John (Marla) Moore, St. Thomas; Laurel (Scot) Bjornson, Hayfield, Minn.; ten grandchildren, Haley Middendorf, Gavin Middendorf, Logan Moore, Cassidy Moore, Madison Moore, Anikka Bjornson, Mason Galarnyk, Corryn Bjornson, Sjon Bjornson, Jaiden Moore; and a sister, Dana Opie, Jefferson City. Private family services will be held at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Patient Assistance Fund, 1704 Christy Court, Suite 500, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
