Bernard Paul “Ben” Boillot, 67, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020, at his residence.

He was born January 13, 1953, in Jefferson City, the son of Lester Rathel and Mary Ann (Dudenhoefer) Boillot.

Ben was a 1971 graduate of Linn High School.

He was united in marriage on April 9, 1983, in Jefferson City at St. Peter Catholic Church to Diana Marie Williams who resides at the home.

Ben worked his career with the Missouri Department of Conservation, for thirty-five years as a survey crew supervisor, retiring on September 1, 2007. During his retirement he enjoyed working at Menards.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 2693.

Ben was an avid Jack Daniels Collector, relishing his biyearly visits to Lynchburg, Tennessee to their distillery. He enjoyed deer hunting, target shooting with his brother, Vincent, and Friday night bingo at the DAV. His best times were with his family and taking care of his mother, especially when they went to Sunday morning breakfast.

Other survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Boillot, Linn; seven siblings, George (Norma) Boillot, Washington, Missouri; Mary Catherine (Roy) Jones, Westphalia; Margaret Ann
(Curtis) Thessen, Lebanon; Joseph (Barb) Boillot, Columbia; Vincent (Penny) Boillot, Linn; Eugene (Sandy) Boillot, St. Louis; and Charles Boillot, Union; one brother-in-law, Bill (Lanie) Williams, Wardsville; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother-in-law, Brian “Kip” Williams.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., June 18, 2020 at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with prayer service at 3:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2020, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Joshua J. Duncan officiating.

Burial will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or to Disabled American Veterans.

The general public is welcome to attend the services while following social distancing guidelines. Please stay 6 feet apart and avoid close contact. Disposable masks will be provided by Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home if needed.

  1. Went to school with Ben, actually he’s my 2nd cousin, can’t believe he’s gone, much to young for this to happen, heaven got a good one last Saturday, sadly he will be missed.

I waited on him at the Conservation Employees ‘ Credit Union for as long as I worked there fro nearly 28 years. It was a pleasure to know him! He was a very special person.   7. Bernie was always so sweet and nice and I couldn’t ask for a nicer cousin. He is special and the Dudenhoeffer family is stricken by his passing. His siblings and parents were just as sweet and I’m so very sorry he’s no longer with us. God bless his journey.
