Dear family, I am deacon Tom Whalen and have been ministering at Heisinger for many years on Tuesdays, except the 3rd each month, and seeing Bea there for several years. Until last several months she usually came to the chapel for Rosary and Communion Service but if not there I or deacon Alan (we rotate every month) would take Communion to her. She was always so pleasant, always had a big smile. The last few weeks her health was obviously slipping but she was able to receiving the Eucharist last week, Ash Wednesday and receive ashes. Sometimes in last couple years I would see her at Mass at St Peter Church, again, she would always smile.
I will certainly miss her, she was like an angel.
God Bless,
Deacon Tom Whalen, St. Peter Church

I will really miss our little Bea. I have enjoyed caring for her over the past several months, and will always remember her sweet little smile. May she rest in peace for a life well lived. My prayers are with your family. I am sorry I will not be able to attend her visitation and service since I have to work on Friday, but I feel I got to tell her goodbye on the day she passed by caring for her in her last hours. Take care.
