Betty Lee Borman, 96, of Jefferson City, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Primrose Retirement Center.

She was born on May 6, 1929, in Jefferson City, the daughter of Leo Henry and Bertha (Saladin) Nentwig.

Betty was a 1947 graduate of St. Peter High School. She then attended Mount St. Scholastica (Benedictine College) for 2 years.

She was united in marriage on February 6, 1954, at St. Peter Catholic Church to Peter Borman who preceded her in death on May 29, 2011.

Betty worked for Chesebrough Ponds Credit Union (Unilever) as a financial manager, retiring in April of 1992.

She was a lifetime member of St. Peter Catholic Church, ladies sodality, prayer group and volunteered at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Betty loved spending time with her family and friends, played in several bridge groups, watching St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and also enjoyed playing bingo.

She is survived by her loving children, David (Anne) Borman, Birmingham, AL, Mary Borman, Columbia, MO, Mark (Wanda) Borman, Henley, MO and Christopher (Beth) Borman, Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren, Ryan (Courtney) Borman, Eric (Lauren) Borman, Peter Borman, Brent Borman, Brad (Emily) Borman, Claire Borman and Jade Borman; four step-grandchildren, Ben Stafford, Fran Burgan, Rosemary Stafford-Smith and John Stafford; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Eleanor Nentwig, Jefferson City; one daughter-in-law, Valerie Borman, Austin, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son, Paul Borman and two brothers, Arthur Nentwig and Cyrus Nentwig.

Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 4, 2025, at St. Peter Catholic Church followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Msgr. Robert A. Kurwicki, V.G. officiating.

Burial will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Peter Catholic Church or to the Donor’s Choice.
