Billy Gene Wilson, 83, of Holts Summit, formerly of Vienna, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born September 30, 1932, in Doniphan, Missouri, the son of the late Willie Bill and Mary Matilda (Little) Wilson. He was united in marriage on June 17, 1956, in Hernando, Mississippi to Doris Yvonne Cornman who survives at the home. Billy served his country with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. After his honorably discharge from the Army, Billy focused his time with his family and work. He worked for various auto shops as a mechanic and body repairman before owning and operating his own auto repair garage. In his spare time he enjoyed to farm, go hunting, and especially enjoyed Sunday drives with his family. Billy was never a stranger to anyone; he also was looking for the next person to visit with. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War in Vienna. Survivors include his wife Doris Wilson of 59 years; four sons, Steven (Theresa) Wilson, Russellville; Stanley (Mary) Wilson, Holts Summit; Bradley (Connie) Wilson, Vienna; Anthony (Janelle) Wilson, Jefferson City; ten grandchildren, Steven Wilson, Jr., Mitch Wilde, Dillon Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Amber Burnett, Gina Wilson, Mikayla Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Rachel Wilson, Kaleb Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy Wilson, Beyla Burnett; and four siblings, Charles (Janet) Wilson, Gaimes, Michigan; Melvin Wilson, Festus, MO; Alice Koonce, Stuart, Florida; and Tommy (Gail) Wilson, Port St. Lucie, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant brother. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cornman officiating. Burial with military honors will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 13th at Fort Leonard Wood State Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville, MO.
