Brent was united in marriage to the love of his life, Juliana Henrietta Luebbering, on August 30, 1969, in St. Thomas. Mrs. Crane resides at the home.
Brents global adventures began with his father early in his life. From 1965-67, Brent served in the Peace Corps teaching high school students woodshop on the Island of Grenada. Often around town, he saw one of his favorite students (they were all his favorite) whom he helped inspire to greatness. In addition, he also sold real estate where he met life long friends.

Brent was one of the memorable classmates of EHS ’61. We enjoyed his antics and big smile. We shall miss him at our class reunions, but he’ll be in our hearts and memories forever. Peace go with you, dear friend.
I am very sorry to read of the loss of, Mr. Crane. With his accomplishments, and dedications, both in his professional life and personal one, he was an amazing man! I won’t pretend to know what you’re going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love, is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is John 5:28, 29 which says, ” Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out .” I hope that this verse will also comfort you and, I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved husband, father, grandpa and friend. Sincerely, Meryl, jw.org – healingwordsforu@gmail.com
Juliana and family…Deepest Condolences. I just saw this. Special Prayers for Peace for Brent. Please share my sympathy with Juliene. Nita
I just read Brent’s obituary and this feeling of depression came over me, as he and I were such great friends in our elementary, middle, and high school years, along with being active in the Methodist Church in Eldon as members of what was then called: MYF….Methodist Youth Family. Sooooo sorry to hear of his passing….another member of the Class of ’61 in Eldon, MO. Brent was always at every birthday party that I had in the younger years…..a very, very good friend he was. As usual, we drifted apart with age and different life experiences, but I never forgot him…..ever. My condolences go out to all of the family……family that I never got to meet. My love to each of you.
Vicki and I are so shocked and saddened by this news. Just seems like yesterday we were talking at the Eldon class of 1961 reunion in Eldon. As I read about Brent’s great doings during his life, he touched many people all over the world. In high school, I remember many of Brent’s antics, many which got him in “trouble” it seems. He was a friend of everyone he came into contact with; what a great remembrance. He always had a smile on his face.
I was shocked to hear of Brent’s passing. A great guy that did so very much for the entire community. RIP my friend.
Dear Juliana & Brent’s extended family, “…mourn with those who mourn.” Romans 12:15 – I, too, was one of Brent’s graduating classmates from the 1961 class of Eldon High School. We just know received this notice of Brent’s passing from our classmates Ken & Vicki Robb. Brent’s smile and laughter was always a constant we could count on in high school. Since we have lived and served here in Taiwan for more than 48 years, Bev (class of 1962) and I have never gotten to be a part of the class reunions spoken of by our other classmates. We really didn’t hear much about Brent after high school, but thankful for his love for people and service both to his students and to those in need around the world. Our love, concern and prayers for your whole family at this sorrowing time. Jesus is our hope, not just for Brent, but for us all!
We had some good times at the lake and the chase through the streets and alleys of Eldon trying to escape Dutch Wilson will never be forgotten. A life well lived. The family is in our prayers and may his soul rest in peace. Larry and Elise Ford, Sun City, AZ

I am so saddened to hear of Brent’s passing. We were good friends in high school and shared a birthday – a year apart. He was so fun loving. Dear Aunt Julie, Bruce, Jenifer, Malinda, and family. I wanted to put something in writing to you. My memories from little and on of all of you are all wonderful and full of laughter. The services for Uncle Brent were uplifting and moving. What a great role model he is and what a difference he made in this world and to all of those he touched. I am so sad for you and the days ahead you face without him. Know this, that I love each of you and will continue to pray for you. Penny
