My Condolences
We appreciated his many years of leadership at the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers. He had the perfect disposition for herding such opinionated folks. He is missed.
So sad to hear this news. Bruce was a consummate professional in our world of Engineering Council Executives. Always upbeat and friendly, working to make things better. Condolences to his family. RIP, Bruce

Bruce was a good man and a great advocate for the engineering community. Bruce treated everyone with respect, cared deeply about his family and his community and made everyone he encountered feel special. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Bruce for over 30 years and I am thankful for our time together. My condolences to Cathy and all of Bruce’s adoring family.
Cathy,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Bruce’s passing. Please accept Penny and my heartfelt condolences.
I had the privilege of working with Bruce throughout his entire 35-year tenure as Chief Executive of ACEC Missouri. He was not only a true gentleman but also an incredibly effective advocate for engineering and the interests of his member firms. His leadership, integrity, and tireless commitment left a lasting impact on our profession.
Over the years, we shared many meaningful experiences—board meetings, conferences, congressional visits in Jefferson City and Washington, and especially travels to Branson and the Caribbean. I will always carry warm memories of those times together.
May his memory be a blessing to your family, and may you find comfort in knowing how deeply respected and admired Bruce was by all who had the honor of working with him.
With sympathy,
Marc Alper
With sympathy to Cathy and family. I was shocked to read of Bruce’s passing. He seemed to always be smiling and was so welcoming to our family through our MSPE conventions. Those conventions were generally our vacations and I so enjoyed our times together as well as our kids getting to enjoy spending time together. Rest in peace Bruce. Cathy and family my heart and prayers are with you. Linda Meyers
