Charles David Cavins, 73, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born December 28, 1945, in Harrisburg, Illinois, the son of the late John F. and Georgia L. (Penrod) Cavins.
He was united in marriage on November 14, 1993, to Charlotte Evelyn Womack who preceded him in death on April 29, 2017.
Charles worked in the nursing field for many years.
Survivors include five children, William Phillips, Columbia; Rhonda Matthews, Benson, NC; Ruth Cavins, Jefferson City; Tina Dunn, Illinois; Sherry Taylor, Illinois; and other extended family members.
Private services will be held at a later time.
