So sorry to hear of Chuck’s passing, I used to work at Hair Connections and always enjoyed when he came in and always told me I was trouble.(always made me laugh) My prayers are with you during this time. God bless.
First off, I’m very, very, very sorry for your loss. When I saw this in the paper, I was deeply saddened. I waitress at Oscar’s, have since they first opened just as long as Chuck and Lill have been eating there. He had given me the nickname Spike because of my short and spikey hair. They were both always so kind to me and I loved getting to talk to them whenever I got the chance. Chuck reminded me of my grandfather, whom also was a Navy man. I left Oscar’s for about a year and a half, and Lisa (another favorite of Chuck n’ Lills) has told me that the whole time I was gone, he always asked about me..about what I was doing and how I was doing. When I came back, they were one of two couples that remembered me. He was a great man with a giant heart and the greatest sense of humor of anyone whose ever frequented Oscars. He will be missed. I’ll forever carry the nickname Spike with me, infact, I’m going to get it painted on the tailgate of my project truck. Please let Lill know that Spike and Lisa would love to have a way to get ahold of her, visit her, and I could even treat her with some Oscar’s once in awhile.
So sorry for your loss. You are all in our prayers and thoughts at this most difficult time.
Mrs. Lil, I can not believe this has happened. I will be Praying for You and Your Family. Please know you have The Dameron Family’s Deepest Sympathy…….
Lill and Pam. I am so sorry to see in the paper about Charlie. He will be missed greatly with that wonderful smile of his. I was not able to make it by in person but wanted to let you know that I have been thinking about you.
We were on the Hawaii trip with Donnie and Velma when we were shocked with the bad news about Chuck. We offer our deepest sympathy to you and your family. I always liked Chuck from the moment I hired him with the City, he was a very good employee and friend. I’m sorry we were not able to attend the services, Marty came down with a virus on the ship, and now I have it, and do not wish to spread it. Again, sorry to hear about Chuck, and God bless you. Ed and Marty
Lillian, please know that Richard and I are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. We thought the world of Chuck and will miss his smile and good humor. We were so glad to spend time with you in November at Helen and Lawerence’s anniversary. You have both been such good friends of our family and we love you. Please let us know if there is ever anything we can do for you.

Lil, Linda & I send our deepest sympathy at this time of great loss to you and your family. Our parents (Sandbothe & Redels) were the best of friends and visited back and forth for many years enjoying meals, playing cards, etc. Of course the kids were a part of this visiting until they became old enough to leave for the service, jobs, etc! The Redel family is much like an extension to our family. We shall miss Chuck along with you–condolences and prayers are sent your way!
